Climate Observations: Form 303

Some sort of menu or sidebar navigation would usually go here.
This example is based on the large climate observations form 303. As you can see the elements are very spread out - but nice and clear.
We have not yet styled the fieldset legend - so we are getting the bootstrap default. We need to illustrate the styles for mandatory fields and fields entered with errors.
There is no styling override of the browsers select list component. So these are showing 3d in some browsers. Firefox seems to put the checkboxes in the centre of the screen.
It is possible to put fieldsets into columns if we want to save some space. The row and col grid elements give full control over form layout but can be rather verbose.
There is probably a simple style we can add to the sidebar to make this box follow you up and down the page.
